Content Policy
Last updated: September 26, 2026
This policy explains what can be published on Dolpho, how we review titles, and how to tell us about something that should not be here. It applies to films, shows, and videos, and to the clips, reviews, comments, and messages people post around them. It works alongside our Terms of Service and Creator Terms.
1. Where Titles Come From
Every title on Dolpho is published by its filmmaker or by a distributor. Creator accounts are available by application only, and Dolpho reviews every application. Each creator confirms that they own or have licensed everything in their titles, including footage, music, artwork, and the likenesses of the people who appear.
2. What Is Not Allowed
Titles
Creators may not publish a title that:
- Depicts, promotes, or facilitates the exploitation or abuse of minors in any way
- Contains non-consensual intimate imagery
- Violates any applicable law
- Infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party
- Contains malware, viruses, or harmful code
Clips, Reviews, Comments, and Messages
Anything you post must not be illegal, harassing, threatening, defamatory, or infringing on the rights of others.
3. Films for Mature Audiences
Dolpho is home to independent film, including horror and other work made for adult audiences. A film may depict violence or frightening events as part of a story. Creators describe their titles accurately, including a rating and content descriptors where Dolpho asks for them, so viewers know what they are choosing to watch.
4. Advertising on Free Titles
Free titles are supported by advertising. Before a title carries advertising, Dolpho reviews it and records its genre, rating, language, and content descriptors for violence, gore, nudity, and profanity.
Titles with graphic content do not carry ads from our advertising partners. Paid titles play without ads.
5. How to Report a Title
Every title page has a Report this title link. You can also email support@dolpho.net with a link to the page and a short description of the problem. You do not need an account to send a report.
Dolpho reviews every report. To report a clip, review, or comment, email the same address with a link to the page it appears on.
If you believe a title infringes your copyright, follow the steps in our Copyright Policy.
6. What Happens When Something Breaks the Rules
Dolpho may remove any title or post that violates this policy, turn off advertising on a title, and suspend or terminate accounts for violations. Content that seriously violates this policy may be removed immediately.
